Number
1, Volume 1
of the Upper Left Edge newspaper appeared in April of 1992.
New issues have come out monthly ever since. The Right Reverend
Hults has attracted readers from Oregon to Australia, and points
in between.
The
online version was launched in July of 1997 with Liz
Lynch at the helm. Myrna Uhlig came on board within a few
months to share duties with Liz. Files were stored on Liz' complimentary
website space until Virginia
Bruce came to the rescue, working out a deal for our own
domain name and server space. A year later, Myrna took over
the project, freeing Liz to blaze new trails.
In
late 2000, our domain host was sold to a large national company.
In the process of moving our data to their own servers, our
files were lost in their entirety. Sure, we weren't silly enough
not to have backups, though there were some irretrievable casualties.
The bulk of the files from the first year of production and
Liz's original images are gone forever.
