Tolovana Arts Colony

is a community based, nonprofit arts association dedicated to providing affordable, year round arts education on the North Oregon coast.

Our goal is to offer a rigorous, intimate and informal setting for students of all ages to pursue their talents, focus their energies and hone their craft. To this end, our faculty is composed of working artists with years of experience in their field. More than a school, Tolovana Arts Colony is a community of artists.

TAC offers classes with affordable tuitions year round and will begin offering workshops in the spring.

We at TAC have a broad definition of art; as in, any work done well becomes art. Our efforts are being supported by a wide spectrum of local organizations -- The Cannon Beach American Legion, Chamber of Commerce, Historical Society, City Government, etc. -- and individuals. Funds are raised through benefits, raffles, grants and individual donations. (Donations can be tax deductible; just ask.)

Please feel free to contact billy@upperleftedge.com or call at 503.436.2915 if you have any questions or want to get involved in any capacity. We are growing and invite everyone to join us.
