A Bit Crazy

August 9, 2026 by Steven Mayer Leave a Comment

We are all a bit crazy
ask me to make good sense
I may spin a convincing tale
approximate truth, logic
sprinkle in a few facts
acoptic gestures

We are all a bit crazy
genetics with imperfections
families with developmental dysfunction
schools with educational failure
communities with crimes
religions with demons

Most of us are more than a bit crazy
character flaws, personality disorders abound
emotional, physical abuse reign freely
economic disparity denies opportunities
social justice compromised by political corruption
history’s course leads humanity astray

Yet society brims with diversity
originality, innovation flourish
science, art, and human toil yield more
earth spins in its lonely place in the universe
human beings find meaning after all
life goes a bit crazy for sure
